Gas is recovered, new copper pipe is joined by brazing or flare, insulated and taped with the drain line, vacuumed, then gas is released and a leak test is done.
Price is labour for the joint; pipe per foot and any extra gas needed for long runs are added at the listed rates. Concealed wall chasing is quoted after a visit.
