The old fuse board is removed, a new DB box is fixed, each circuit is connected to its own MCB, neutral and earth bars are set and every breaker is labelled. DB box, MCBs and wire are extra.
The electrician counts your circuits and gives a parts list first. Power stays off for 2–4 hours during the change; everything is tested before power is restored.
