A nurse for the first weeks after surgery — medicines, dressing as advised, vitals and mobility help.
After discharge, the same nurse visits daily for a 12-hour shift: gives prescribed medicines, changes simple dressings as the surgeon advised, records vitals, helps the patient sit, walk and use the toilet safely, and keeps a daily care log.
Book a 7, 15 or 30-day package with the discharge papers. If the nurse notices anything unusual, the family and the treating doctor are informed at once. Doctor visits, medicines and dressing materials are not included.
