Labour team for rod binding, shuttering and roof slab, beam or column casting with mixer.
Rod binders cut, bend and tie rods as per the drawing; the casting team runs the mixer, vibrator and lift and pours the slab in one go, then arranges curing. Rod, cement, sand, stone chips, shuttering and machine rent are separate unless agreed.
Your engineer should check the rod work before casting. Slab casting of up to 1500 sqft is usually finished in one long day with a team of 20–30 workers.
